Tony White 1942–202021 August 2020
It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you that our Executive Chairman, Tony White passed away peacefully on Saturday morning. I am sure you will join me in sending thoughts and sympathy to Tony’s wife, Anna and their family at this very difficult time.
Tony was extremely proud to have built ProCam into the largest privately owned agronomy business in Europe, employing over 600 people and annual sales of £300 million across the UK and Poland.
To ensure that Tony’s primary wish was fulfilled, he had already planned the long-term future of the business. Tony wanted the business to remain independent and had already appointed a strong and respected leadership structure in the UK and Poland to deliver this desire.
Tony had made provision for his shares to pass into a family trust over 20 years ago. The trust is appointed to protect the independence of the business.
In 2019, ProCam celebrated its 40th year in the UK and 15th year in Poland. This is a testament to the fact that the business is built on solid foundations.
ProCam will continue to be an independent people focussed business, which delivers high quality agronomic services to our valued customer base via a dedicated team.
If you would like to send a message of condolence or a fond memory to Tony’s family, please use the following email address Tribute@procam.co.uk. We are planning to collate all messages into a remembrance book for Tony’s family. I am sure Anna & the family will cherish the special thoughts & memories you wish to share.
Please feel free to pass on this sad news across your business, or on to people who would have known Tony.
Kind Regards,
Diane Heath, UK Managing Director
