John Bianchi is the managing director of ProCam UK with over 30 years’ experience of working for the company from the first trainee agronomist employed to his current senior position.
“My role is to develop a culture in the organisation which has a strong customer focus and to build teams of people who are able to help to deliver long term sustained growth of the UK business. “Over the years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to personally progress my career as the business has grown and this has given me the ideal background for my current role.” ProCam’s biggest advantage is the individual approach it takes to its customers, he says.
“By tailoring our advice to the individual customer’s needs and unique field situations, we deliver a real world, value added result for the farmer which is consistently better than any of our competitors. “We have a comprehensive training programme which matches the best in the industry and our success rate in retaining people is second to none. In part, this is a result of delivering real world results to satisfied customers in a privately owned business where commercial agronomy is core.” In the future, people will remain at the forefront of the operation, he adds.
“Agronomists and customers will continue to be at the centre of everything we do as personal service is key. Our aim is to use technology as a support to enhance customer contact rather than replace it.”
