Joe’s role at ProCam is Regional Director for the South and West of the company, responsible for the teams at Chemega, Prochem, Procam South West and Rutherfords. Joe has been with company since the acquisition of Chemega in 2000 and prior to that was with Chemega since 1991.
“Procam’s usp for customers is without doubt the ProCam 4Cast database,” he says. “This provides the opportunity to analyse an unrivalled store of information built up over many years and helps us identify key decisions that help maximise returns on inputs for our growers.” It’s a great team to be a part of too, he adds. “Whether as trainees or established agronomists looking for career progression, we are a company that is all about people, their development and the support they need to provide our ‘agronomy that delivers’ promise.”
In the future the company will develop to embrace new technologies and to look at more areas of interest and influence to both agronomists and growers, he says. “There’s a growing demand for new solutions by those that recognise the answer is not always going to be found in an ever-decreasing number of cans.”
Outside of ProCam, Joe is a keen family man who enjoys the odd day out on his 1969 Lambretta when time allows.
